3. Booking a Tour

A booking is confirmed only when:

• You receive written (by email) confirmation from Picturesque Travel
• Full payment (or a deposit for bespoke tours) has been received

We reserve the right to decline bookings at our discretion.

4. Payments

• Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed
• Accepted payment methods are shown at checkout
• Bespoke tours may require a non‑refundable planning deposit

Prices are listed in GBP and may change without notice, but confirmed bookings are not affected.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

Standard Tours (Highlights & In Context Tours)

• Full refund: Cancel at least 7 days before the scheduled start
• Less than 7 days: No refund

Bespoke Tours

• Planning deposits are non‑refundable
• If the tour is fully confirmed:

• More than 7 days before: 50% refund (excluding deposit)
• Less than 7 days before: No refund

Cancellations by Picturesque Travel

If we must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., severe weather, guide illness, venue closures):

• You may choose a full refund or reschedule
• Planning deposits for bespoke tours will be refunded if we cancel

We are not liable for additional costs such as travel, accommodation, or third‑party bookings.

6. Late Arrivals & No‑Shows

Tours begin promptly.
If you arrive late or fail to attend:

• The tour may proceed without you
• No refunds are provided

7. Safety & Conduct

Guests must:

• Follow guide instructions
• Behave respectfully toward guides, venues, and other participants
• Not engage in unsafe or disruptive behaviour

We reserve the right to remove any participant who poses a risk to themselves or others.

Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

8. Accessibility & Special Requirements

Please inform us of any accessibility needs or special requirements at the time of booking.
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests or suggest suitable alternatives.

9. Weather Policy

Scottish weather can be unpredictable.
Tours generally proceed in rain or shine.
In cases of extreme weather where safety is compromised, we may cancel or reschedule.

10. Photography & Media

• Guests may take photographs unless restricted by venues
• Picturesque Travel may take photos during tours for promotional use
• If you prefer not to appear in images, please inform your guide

11. Liability

Picturesque Travel is not liable for:

• Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings
• Injuries resulting from failure to follow guide instructions
• Delays or disruptions caused by events outside our control

Our liability is limited to the cost of the tour purchased.
